These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between Tryda Sports ([legal entity name and ABN]) ("Tryda Sports", "we", "us") and you, the person or organisation subscribing to or using our service ("you"). By subscribing to or using Tryda, you agree to these Terms.
If you are agreeing on behalf of an association, club or competition, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Tryda is a gala-day scoring system for rugby league. It provides a web-based scoring app for referees and a coordinator "scoreboard" (a shared Google Sheet with added tools) that records results and maintains a live ladder, draws and finals for a "district" (your association or competition).
You can cancel at any time by contacting us at [contact email]; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term and your access continues until then.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees. Our voluntary refund policy is: [state your policy — e.g. a full refund within 14 days if you haven't run an event].
You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the service; access districts or data that aren't yours; resell or sub-licence the service without our written agreement; or use it unlawfully. Access codes and links are for your district's referees and coordinators only.
You keep ownership of the information you put into your scoreboard (teams, results, and referee names your referees enter). You grant us permission to host and process that information to provide the service. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having any consents you need to collect and enter information about individuals (for example, referee names).
Tryda Sports owns the software, the app, the "Tryda" and "Tryda Sports" names and logos, and the templates and materials we provide (including the user guide and packs). You may use them only as part of your subscription. Your data remains yours.
We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service depends on third parties (including Google and Netlify). We may perform maintenance and update features. This clause is subject to the consumer guarantees in section 10.
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent we're permitted to limit our liability, our total liability to you for any claim is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or refunding the fees you paid for the relevant term. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent the law allows.
We may suspend or disable a district's access if payment isn't received, or if these Terms are breached. We'll usually contact you first. On termination, we'll make your data available to you for a reasonable period on request, then may delete it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and update the date above; significant changes will be notified to subscribers. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state.
